The DI owns and operates three mixed market buildings within Calgary: Sundial Apartments, Bridgeland Manor, and Greenview Rise.
Mixed-market buildings means that within the building, the units are split between those that are near-market value, affordable housing value, and those that are intended strictly for supportive housing.
By investing in this supportive housing initiative, you are setting people up for success and helping to remove barriers that people who are marginalized face to access affordable and supportive housing.
Using this mixed-market model with dedicated case managers has proven very successful. Since 2018, we’ve seen less than 6% of residents move back to shelter.
