Embracing Diversity: Continually supporting the Calgary Pride Festival

At the DI, we believe in creating safer and inclusive spaces for all individuals, regardless of their background or identity. As an organization dedicated to providing support and care to those in need, we are proud to participate once again in the upcoming Calgary Pride Parade.

Pride Festivals not only a celebration of diversity, equality, and love, but are important opportunities to show support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and raise awareness about social issues and advocate for equity and acceptance for all.

As we prepare to march in the Calgary Pride Parade, we are reminded of the importance of showing up, standing alongside, and uplifting the voices of historically marginalized communities. Our participation in this event reflects our values as an organization that values diversity, community, inclusivity, and compassion.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and accepted for who they are, and we are committed to creating a welcoming environment for all individuals, including 2SLGBTQIA+ community members. By participating in the Pride Parade, we hope to send a powerful message of commitment, support, and acceptance to our community and beyond.

We invite our staff, volunteers, and supporters to join us in celebrating diversity and promoting equality. Together, we can make a difference and create a more inclusive and compassionate society for all.
