Kevin has been working in the homeless-serving sector for 10 years and joined the Calgary Drop-In Centre (The DI) in 2018.  He has worked in various departments within the DI, most notably as the Manager of Emergency Shelter, the Senior Manager of Housing, and currently, the Director of Emergency Shelter and Housing. An advocate for system change, Kevin prides himself as a constant learner and is currently building upon his Criminal Justice Diploma with further education in Management. A member of the Canadian Shelter Transformation Network, Kevin frequently works with shelters across Canada to find creative, innovative, and compassionate ways to advance housing-focused opportunities within the homeless-serving sector of care.  

Outside of the DI, Kevin is an avid fisherman and enjoys building fishing rods as well as other woodworking and leather-crafting projects. He deeply enjoys the time he gets to spend with his family.
