Sydney is a Senior Manager at Deloitte where, as part of the Finance Transformation team, she specializes in finance optimization and close acceleration enabled by technology, including automated reconciliation tools, financial close strategy and finance process engineering. Sydney completed her undergraduate degree in Accounting at Mount Royal University and is a CPA, CA. Although a born and raised Calgarian, her experience has taken her around the world; most recently having spent several years in Sydney, Australia before re-joining her home office in Calgary. 

In her spare time, Sydney enjoys reading, skiing, and spending time outside with her two young boys.
