Lawrence Rice

Treasurer

Lawrence is the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions for Sunoco LP and leads their acquisitions group in Canada. As the child of mental health professionals, he was introduced from an early age to the complexities and challenges faced by those dealing with mental health and addiction issues. This exposure ignited a strong belief in the importance of fostering a society that offers unwavering support and compassion to these individuals.

Lawrence previously served as Chair of the DI’s Modernization Project Oversight Committee which oversaw a major capital investment program across the DI’s facilities and currently serves as DI’s Treasurer and Chair of the Finance, Facilities and Risk Committee.

Lawrence holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance from Strathclyde University, an MSc in Corporate Financial Management from Skema Business School and is a CA with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
