Meet Our Matching Donors and Double the Impact of Your Gift

July 30, 2026

Moving from homelessness into housing is a life changing milestone. It is the beginning of a new chapter filled with hope, possibility, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.

But a home is more than four walls.

It is a place to feel safe. A place to find stability. A place where people can rebuild their lives with dignity and begin to put down roots in their community.

At the Calgary Drop In Centre, our Free Goods Program helps make that possible by providing essential household items, furniture, clothing, hygiene products, and other everyday necessities that transform a new space into a welcoming home. Every item helps create the foundation people need to move forward with confidence and independence.

The impact reaches even further. Donations to the Free Goods Program also help support the day to day operations of our housing focused shelter by providing essential supplies that allow us to continue serving thousands of Calgarians experiencing homelessness each year.

Today, your generosity can have twice the impact.

Thanks to the incredible leadership of Peter Harris and Jessica Aldred through the Hope and Aspire Fund, every donation to our Double For Good campaign will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $100,000.

As Peter and Jessica shared,

“Your donation is creating and sustaining homes for people.”

Their commitment reflects what this campaign is all about. Together, we are not simply providing essential items. We are creating opportunities for people to build stable, connected lives and sustain the progress they have worked so hard to achieve.

There has never been a better time to give.

Every dollar donated to the Free Goods Program will go twice as far, helping more individuals and families create a place to call home while strengthening the supports that make lasting change possible.

Donate today and double your impact. Together, we can create and sustain homes for Calgary’s most vulnerable, one new beginning at a time.
